In a drama track set after the end of the series, Yzak and Dearka meet up with Athrun to visit their teammates' graves. Athrun brings with him a recording of one of Nicol's piano performances, and they're reminded that they're going to make sure that his, and everybody elses deaths weren't in vain. So the instrumental has meaning to the FST, as they also have some very meaningful talks during the drama.
