Newtype April 2007 had a page with small blurbs about the meaning of the flowers in the images, and how it relates to the person holding it.

Dearka Elthman with Orange Rose: The orange rose, in the language of flowers, means "innocence," "charm," "fresh," and "bonds with another person." This flower is appropriate for Dearka because he values such bonds with his companions (particularly with Yzak). When he puts on a suit, immediately, he becomes a "cool guy" in his own way.

Yzak Jule with Pink Rose: Why is Yzak a little like the variety called pink rose? In the language of flowers, it means "elegant," "warm," and a "beautiful maiden." Ugh! Surely deep inside Yzak's heart, there is a world like this flower language.
